Meal Planning Monday

I’m going straight in with my meal highlight of last week. This was on Saturday when we went to the railway museum. I put a load of veggies in the slow cooker with the remains of the roast chicken that I’d cooked on Friday night and a couple of stock cubes. I was very pleased with myself when we got home, tired and hungry to a tasty stew.

A great family day out

A great family day out

This week’s plan is here:

Monday – we’re going to my mum’s for tea

Tuesday – we’re having tea out before the launch of the Clandestine Cake Club Cookbook in Leeds

Wednesday – Gammon (organic from Abel and Cole)

Thursday – turkey meatloaf (a family favourite)

Friday – fried rice (recipe here)

Saturday – freezer dive

Sunday – Roast

Have a look at what everyone else is eating at Mrs M’s blog here and have a great week!

Gotta love a good freezer dive! Ours is looking a bit full, I think I’m going to do this for next week! x

Don’t think I’ve ever had Turkey meatloaf….It may be one to try 🙂

Plenty of Worcester sauce and a squirt of ketchup. Really tasty and not greasy.

    Freezer Diving!! Love it!!

I’ve not tried meatloaf. Is it not quite dry? The extent of My meatloaf knowledge is from American TV and it always looks like it needs a boat of gravy.

The turkey meatloaf is not dry, it’s like burgers but in a big loaf! And it’s not greasy either because its turkey. Add plenty Worcester sauce and squirt ketchup, slice of bread crumbs and an egg. Very tasty!

I like the sound of the turkey meatloaf. The chicken stew also sounds delicious!
