Dark Indulgent Chocolate and Walnut Brownies

This week’s weekly bake off fell on a good week – guide camp! And all the leaders will be grateful for a big piece of chocolate brownie when we are sat in a field of tents and teenagers!

The brownies were easy and straightforward to make, but are quite extravagent with the ingredients and a definite treat!

You may also notice that I have treated myself to the correct size of tin after my treacle and ginger traybake overflowed a couple of weeks ago in the bake off!

The recipe, as always, is from Mary Berry’s 100 Cakes and Bakes and here’s how I made them:

3 and a half bars of chocolate are melted with the butter
