Project 366: day 171

Turkey meatloaf.

1. Fry a chopped onion in a splash of oil until softened. Allow to cool.
2. Make breadcrumbs from 2 slices bread with crusts cut off. Mix with onion, 500g turkey mince, 1 egg, squirt tomato ketchup, 2 tablespoons of Worcester sauce.
3. Shape into meatloaf shape on ungreased baking tray.
4. Bake at 180fan for 40 minutes.

Popular Crafts – Union Jack Swap

My Popular Crafts Magazine union jack craft swap has been received today by my partner Sarah, so here’s what was sent and received! You can follow Sarah on Twitter!

Sarah sent me this gift, she has followed me on twitter for a while and knew I liked to craft and bake, so the gift was really thoughtful.

A vintage cake decorating book – right up my street.

My idea was to make a crocheted bag and line it with union jack fabric. I had never either made a crocheted bag before or lined a bag, so Sarah was my guinea pig!
