Ginger and treacle spiced traybake
Here’s my second “Weekly Bakeoff Challenge”. This week we had to bake Ginger and Treacle Spiced Traybake from page 79 of Mary Berry’s 100 cakes and bakes, the recipe book that is followed every week of this challenge.
I’m a late comer to this bloggers meet up, but it has been going for quite some months now. Here is what I’ve missed out on!
This recipe made a lovely sticky ginger cake, with quite a parkin feel to it, of course without the oatmeal. Here is my make in pictures. You will see one minor disaster pic – I knew the tin was too small before I started, I’m not quite sure why I put the whole mixture in! Ah well!
